A tournament bracket generator that runs in your browser.

Pick 3 to 16 teams and single or double elimination. Top seeds get the byes, the play-in round is labeled, and the bracket prints on one page. Then put it on real fields with LeagueMind.

How a bracket is built

A single elimination bracket halves the field each round, so it fits 4, 8, or 16 teams exactly. Any other count is padded to the next power of two, and the empty spots become byes. Byes go to the top seeds, which is the reward for the regular season, and the first round is really a play-in among the lower seeds.

Seeds are placed so the strongest teams meet as late as possible: seed 1 faces the lowest seed, seed 2 faces the next lowest, and seeds 1 and 2 sit in opposite halves. That is the same fold seeding every major tournament uses, and it is what the generator above does.

Double elimination gives every team a second life. A first loss drops a team into the losers bracket, where it keeps playing until a second loss. The winners bracket champion meets the losers bracket champion in a single final. That roughly doubles the game count, so it suits weekends with plenty of field time.

A third-place game is optional in single elimination and common in rec leagues, so two teams that lost their semifinals do not drive home without playing.

The bracket is the easy part

Drawing the lines takes a minute. Putting sixteen games on two fields over one weekend, tracking who won, and keeping every family informed is what LeagueMind does.

Every game on a real field and date

A bracket says who plays whom. LeagueMind places every game, including ones whose teams are not known yet, onto the field slots your calendar already has, before the first pitch.

Scores advance the bracket

Enter a score and the winner moves up. Correct a mistake as long as the next round has not been played. The public bracket updates for every family.

Pool play too

Deal teams into pools, play a round robin in each, and send the top finishers into a crossed bracket. Standings and tiebreakers are computed for you.

Seed from the standings

If your regular season was scored in LeagueMind, seeds come from wins, losses, and run differential. Drag to adjust before the bracket is built.

Lives on the same schedule

Bracket games show up on the season schedule, in calendar downloads, and on the public page with the tournament name, next to the regular season.

Protected from regeneration

Rebuild the regular season as often as you like. Bracket games are pinned and never deleted or rescheduled underneath you.

Proven in season

Built with real leagues.

McCabe Park Little League ran its entire Spring 2026 season on LeagueMind: every division, every field, every Saturday. Real leagues shape every feature we ship.
